Mountain Velká Čantoryje

The highest mountain (955m a.s.l.) of the Silesian Beskids in Czech republic (sometimes called Tesin Beskids), which lies on Czech-Polish frontier, 10 km eastward from Trinec. A tourist chalet has been built in 1904 on the Czech size westward, under the top . It offers a magnificent view of the Polish Beskydy mountains and the valley of the Visla river. Also a natural reservation is located here, on the northwest slope. It contains an extant fir wood with forest’s character. A legend narrates about the Velka Certoryje and sleeping troops. An unfinished outlook-tower can be seen as well.
